Music and Traditions!

Growing up, I have some of the best memories centered around cookouts or just random celebrations. Even if there was a bit of family drama in the mix, the night always ended with karaoke. Whether it be the best singer or the worst (not me thoughπŸ˜›). I always used to look forward to seeing my family, eating amazing food  (my mom's baked beans and potato salad) , and just vibing to music. Hey Guys! My name is Kalea Allison πŸ˜‹! I am a Freshman and my major is Biology! I am originally from North Carolina but I moved here to South Carolina 7 years ago! I am 18 years old and I graduated from Dorman High School 😺.  My music experience started way back in my elementary music class when we would use boom sticks and learned how to play hot cross buns on the recorder. When I was in chorus in middle school, those were some of the most fun memories ever. I managed to get a solo as well during my senior year. Though my major is Biology, I have found ways to be involved in music even here in college. For fall semester, I was in Chorale and got to sing one of my favorite duet pieces so far. With my small history with music, I have come to love, dislike, and grow connected to certain songs or even a whole genre of musi...
